13. Cave 14

Cave 13 is located at the westernmost end of the central area of Yungang Grottoes. The main Buddha statue in the cave is Maitreya Jiaojiao, which is 13 meters high. It's a pity that it's weathered seriously. This image is wrapped in mud by later generations, and its true appearance is hard to see. Only under the right arm of the "corbel" with its wonderful shape to introduce attention. This is the only example of Yungang Grottoes. The statue of seven Buddhas on the arch of Nanbi gate is exquisitely carved and elegant. Most of the statues in cave 14 are divided. In the upper part of the west wall, there are still some statues. In the East, there are square Buddha pillars.
