ZhangLan town was set up as Wu County in the spring and autumn and Warring States period (about 2500 years). As an ancient town with a history of 1000 years, ZhangLan gathered merchants in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, known as "little Beijing". During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, Zhang Lan's Antiques flourished. In the heyday of Kangxi and Qianlong, Shanxi merchants, who amassed a lot of money, also regarded the collection of antiques as an investment and a fashion, which made Zhang Lan a national collection and distribution center of antiques. "Every family treasures, every family appreciate the ancient", it became a common practice.

Zhang Lan is well-known in the collection world, even in the overseas Taobao world. It is said that "you can not mark Pingyao ancient city in the north and Mianshan mountain in Jiexiu in the south, but you can clearly circle Zhang Lan in the Taobao map opened by some overseas visitors."

Walking into the 500 meter long north-south street of ZhangLan, I saw one by one stalls full of stalls. At the south end, the stall extends into the West Street. The stalls are small stalls, with a blanket on the ground and antiques on top. Most of them are porcelain. Behind the stall are clothing, small supermarkets, hardware, hair salons, restaurants and other small shops.

Most of the stall owners are smart middle-aged men and women, as well as elderly people and some little girls. Foreigners in a hurry speak different dialects, carry big bags, and some hold a water cup. A lot of people have already made achievements: small pieces are put into bags, big ones are in their hands, big abacus, screen, small stone lion and so on. They are intoxicated with each other.
