Tamsui Chapel

--Founded in 1933, Tamsui chapel is located on Mackay street, Tamsui Town, Taipei County. It is one of the historic sites in Taipei County, Taiwan.

--It is a famous tourist attraction in Danshui and one of the popular places for many couples to take wedding photos. It is now a historic site in the city.

Tamsui chapel, one of the historic sites in Taipei County, Taiwan, is located on Mackay street, Tamsui Town, Taipei County. It was built in 1932. Designed by kairuilian, it is a red brick building imitating Goethe style. It has a square clock tower with a wooden ceiling inside. It also has an ancient organ that has been used since 1909.

Tamsui chapel is still in use today. It is the largest Presbyterian Congregation in Taiwan. It can hold about 300 people.

The church was built in 1986, and the roof was changed from ceramic tile to aluminum wave board.

Take the Tanshui line of Taipei MRT and get off at Tanshui station. After leaving the station, turn left to Zhongzheng Road (Tanshui old street) and walk to Mackay street.
