Fenqi lake old town

Fenqi lake is the midway station between Jiayi and Alishan, as well as one of the forest railway stations in Alishan. There are countless nostalgic stories in the mountain town. The old streets, bentos and railways are full of vicissitudes of history. The footpaths on both sides of the north and the South can not only look far away, but also shuttle through the fir forest. The simple air is unforgettable.

Fenqi lake is located in Zhonghe village, Zhuqi Township, Jiayi County, with an altitude of about 1400 meters. Because it is surrounded by mountains in the East, West and North, it is shaped like a dustpan, so the local people call it "B ě N J ī" lake, which was later changed to fenqi Lake because of its indecent pronunciation.
