Pull out the spring

Balouquan is located in Licheng District, Jinan City, in balouquan village, Xiying Town, North cliff of Mount Paomaling. The spring pool is in the shape of a urn with a small mouth and a wide inside.

It is recorded in the annals of Zhangqiu county and the annals of Jinan Prefecture by Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty. It is said that "the spring comes out of the mountain half a year, trickles continuously, and there is a slurry spring under it.". It is said that Li Shimin, the king of the Tang Dynasty, passed by this place during his eastward expedition. He was so sleepy that he ordered him to rest. One of the generals tied him to the ground as a stake. The horse jumped wildly because he had no water to drink, pulled him out, and the spring gushed out with him. Later, people called it "Ba Shuquan". This spring is the source of Juye river. Water from the stone hole flows into the pool, Ding Dong rhyme, perennial. Under the cliff on the southwest side of the village, there is a spring pool covered by a shed, which flows all the year round. It is suspected that it is the "Jiangshui spring" in the old records.
