Tianzi city is one of the eight scenic spots in ancient Wanzhou. It is 3 kilometers away from Wanzhou city, 346 meters high and covers an area of about 13 hectares. It is said that Liu Bei, Emperor zhaolie of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms, once stationed troops here when he conquered Wu, which was named Tianzi city.

Development history

Tianzicheng is a natural city, because it is a natural city. Its terrain is dangerous, easy to defend and difficult to attack. It has been a fortress for military strategists since ancient times. In the first year of Deyou in Southern Song Dynasty, Shangguan Kui, the garrison general of Wanzhou, insisted on fighting against Yuan Dynasty and fought with Yang Wen'an for more than years until he died. In order to commemorate Shangguan Kui's martyrdom, the later generations built Shangguan Kui temple in the city. In the early Qing Dynasty, this city was the anti Qing stronghold of Kuidong farmers. So far, there are still Moyan stone carvings on the stone wall of Zhaimen, which is a monument to Yang Wen'an's success in the early Yuan Dynasty.
