Yuankou reservoir, Jiangyong County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province

Yuankou reservoir is located in hengkaihekou, Yuankou nature reserve, Jiangyong County, Hunan Province. It is a medium-sized reservoir. The ground was broken in October 1971 and completed in April 1988. The top of the dam is 393.40 meters long and 72 meters high, with a total storage capacity of 40.6 million cubic meters and an effective storage capacity of 38.7 million cubic meters. The reservoir area has 222 square kilometers of rainfall control and collection area, 150000 mu of irrigation area and taochuandong irrigation area.
