"QiongYa public school" memorial Pavilion

It was built in 1964. QiongYa public school was founded in the summer of 1940 in Meihe base of Chengmai County, with general Feng Baiju as its president. On December 15, 1940, the KMT created the shocking Meihe incident, and qionggong was forced to stop. In the spring of 1945, QiongYa special committee established the Baisha Anti Japanese base, where qionggong was restored. The school was located in Fulong township of the county. In the autumn of that year, the school moved to Nanfeng market, Danxian county. At the beginning of 1946, in order to win the fruits of the Anti Japanese War, the Kuomintang provoked an all-round civil war. Duke Qiong stopped again, and all the trainees were fighting with the army. In June 1948, QiongYa special committee successfully built Wuzhishan base. In the spring of the next year, Duke Qiong recovered in Fanyang town. Hainan was liberated in May 1950 and trained more than 1500 revolutionary backbones.
