It is an idyllic village where Li people live together. Originally a village of "he Mu system", the traditional boat type thatched cottages are still preserved. Li Zhai women are skilled in weaving and embroidery. With their dexterous hands and simple tools, they can weave exquisite designs of Li brocade national crafts such as scarves, jackets and pomegranate skirts. Li people in the village are good at singing and dancing. They sing folk songs to each other. The melody is beautiful and lyrical. The traditional "firewood dance", "rice dance" and "Qianling double sword dance" are colorful. The unique nose flute and copper flute have unique national style and rich flavor of life.

It is said that the ancestors of Li Nationality in Hainan originally lived in Shanghai. They took boats as their home, and later moved to land. In memory of their ancestors, they built boat shaped houses on land. The men in the stockade have long hair and tie their servant girls to their foreheads. They wrap their heads with red or black cloth. Their coats have no collar and are open to the chest.
