Yong'an National Geopark

Fujian Yong'an National Geopark is located in the middle of Fujian Province, under the jurisdiction of Yong'an City in Sanming area. The park covers an area of about 220 km2, mainly composed of two relatively independent parks, Dahu Shilin Park and Taoyuan cave park.

Yong'an National Geopark is located in the northeast end of the southwest depression zone of Fujian Province. The strata exposed from Cambrian to Quaternary are basically complete. The geological structure is complex, the structural traces are diverse, and all kinds of geological relics are rich. It is a natural classroom of Geosciences. Danxia landform and karst landform coexist in the park, each with its own characteristics and high ornamental value.

Yong'an National Geopark

Yongan National Geopark is located in Yongan, covering an area of about 220 square kilometers.

Yongan National Geopark was approved as the fourth batch of national geoparks by the Ministry of land and resources in September 2005, covering an area of about 220 square kilometers. It is a comprehensive Geopark with typical, rare, high aesthetic and high scientific value, including Danxia landform of Taoyuan cave and karst landform of great lakes, typical stratigraphic sections and paleontological relics, integrating natural and cultural landscape park. After the construction, Yong'an National Geopark has set up the main monument of the Geopark, the brief introduction of the Geopark, and the guide guide guide of the geological scenic spots. Taoyuan cave and Shilin Park have completed the setting of the road and scenic spot identification system according to the requirements of the Geopark. The geological museum has completed the construction of the Geopark inspection route guide system, and completed the setting of the scenic spot identification system. Yongan National Geopark Museum covers an area of 45 mu, with a total investment of 21 million yuan. On May 1, 2006, it started construction, built a landscape square, made sand table models of Geopark panorama, Taoyuan cave and Shilin Park, and collected hundreds of rock and fossil specimens.
