Hutiaotan Canyon

Hutiaotan tulin is located in the west side of luomaole village, Wumao Township, 32 kilometers northwest of Yuanzhi village, Chuxiong Prefecture. It is also called Wumao tulin. It is usually referred to as "Yuanzhi liangben Bao C". The total area of hutiaotan soil forest is 6 square kilometers, and the main forms are Castle shape, screen shape, curtain shape and column shape. Various forms of soil columns are scattered vertically and horizontally, up to 42 meters high, and the colors are red, yellow, white, brown, etc. From a distance, the Tiger Leaping beach is full of earth forest, thousands of peaks, ravines, desolation and ruggedness, like an abandoned castle and a group of huge art group sculptures. The scenic spots of hutiaotan soil forest are distributed on both sides of the main ditch and branch ditch. The main channel is a dry river bed with a width of 10-40 meters and a total length of 1500 meters. The surface of the river bed is yellow fine sand and colored gravel. Branch ditches are distributed in the north and south of the main ditch, with a total length of 4300m. On the north side of the main gully are three tributaries, namely "Marshal's Mansion", "castle's love" and "camel's peak"; on the south side are two tributaries, namely "nameless gully" and "Eurasian wonder"; in addition, several minor tributaries have not been named. "Eurasia wonder" is the best landscape of hutiaotan earth forest, where the earth forest is tall and straight, the shape is like ancient palace, magnificent. "Marshal house" is characterized by animal modeling, where the soil column shape is very similar to all kinds of birds and animals. The landscape of "Castle love" is rich in color and is famous for its red, brown and black earth cap. You can go sightseeing on foot or on horseback.
