Yuanmouren exhibition hall

Yuanmou people exhibition hall is located in Longchuan street, Yuanmou County, Chuxiong City, Yunnan Province, 7 km away from Yuanmou County. Covering an area of 4000 square meters, the project was started in 1985 and completed in 1987. Yuanmou Man, a new subspecies of Homo erectus, has a history of 2.7 million years. It was discovered by the southwest neotectonic research group of Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences in May 1965. The exhibition hall of the exhibition hall introduces the tooth fossils of Yuanmou people, reveals the brief history of the origin and development of human beings, and systematically shows the evolutionary links of primitive human beings.
