Stone tablet of dangpingling

The stone tablet of "dangpingling" is located at the top of Laoling peak in Laoling village, dashipingzi Township, Jiangyuan County, Baishan City, on the north side of Baishan Changbai highway, 40 km away from the urban area of Baishan City.

brief introduction

There are two stone tablets, which were erected by the Qing government in 1908 to commemorate the completion of Fengchang Road (now Shenyang Changbai). The two steles have a forehead, a body and a pedestal. The forehead is carved with a double dragon pattern, and the word "Huangqing" is engraved in the middle. There are regular script inscriptions on both sides of the stele, and the handwriting is clear and recognizable. Laoling stone tablet is a physical witness to the study of the history of Baishan City, and its content is enough to prove that Changbai Mountain area has been an integral part of Chinese territory since ancient times. On July 16, 1982, the people's Government of Baishan City listed Laoling stele as one of the first batch of key cultural relics protection units.
