Yuangu Stone Forest Scenic Spot

Yuanguqishilin scenic spot is located in Maojiayu longevity resort, chuanfangyu Town, Jixian County, Tianjin, with a total area of 2.7 million square meters. The scenic spot is adjacent to Jiulongshan National Forest Park in the north and faces Cuiping Lake across the mountain in the south. It is located in the strata of Yangzhuang formation and Wumishan formation of middle and Upper Proterozoic. It is an important part of the middle and Upper Proterozoic Geopark. Yuanguqi Stone Forest scenic area is composed of three parts: kongxiu labyrinth stone forest (West Stone Forest), Wolong Tibetan tiger stone forest (Middle Stone Forest) and Yuanbao Tianshu stone forest (East Stone Forest). It is a strip-shaped circular landscape. Inside the stone forest, there are cliff crevices and paths, which are connected with each other. Entering the stone forest is like entering a labyrinth. In addition, the flowing water adds to the mystery and magic of the stone forest labyrinth.

The Proterozoic Stone Forest scenic spot is located in the east of Jixian County, Tianjin, passing through Fangyu, connecting Jiulongshan National Forest Park in the north, facing Cuiping Lake in the south, qingdongling in the East, niangniangding and the ancient Great Wall in the West. The geological structure is 13.8 billion years ago.

The geological structure of the Proterozoic strange stone forest in Maojiayu is the dolomite stratum of the Middle Upper Proterozoic Yangzhuang formation and Wumishan formation 1.3-8 billion years ago.
