Diagenetic rock

The diagenetic rocks are located in the west suburb of Yuanzhou District, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province and on the North Bank of Xiujiang river. The mountain rises from the river bank and flat land, with an altitude of 163 meters. This place is known as "a victory in Jiangnan" and "natural picture". When the fishing boat sings late and the pastoral flute urges the fishermen to return home, the ancient temple bells are melodious and clear, reverberating in the vast river sky, inside and outside the city, clear and audible, giving people a sense of quiet and secluded. Zhao Shanjian, a poet of the Song Dynasty, wrote a poem: "the monks live up and down, and the bells answer the morning and evening.". Therefore, it is called "Huacheng evening bell". Most of the literati in the past dynasties have chanted about it. In the early Qing Dynasty, Shi Runzhang, the governor of Huxi Road, and Wu Nandai, the governor of Yuanzhou, also sang in harmony. Both of them were praised as honest officials in the case of rouge in Liaozhai.

Historical records

According to the annals of Yuanzhou Prefecture in Zhengde, in July of the sixth year of Yuanguang (129 BC), Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty established Yichun Marquis state, which belongs to Yuzhang county. Liu, the third son of Liu Fa, the king of Changsha, became the Marquis of Yichun. In 112 BC, the Marquis state of Yichun was removed for 17 years. During the period of Yichun Marquis state, Yichun city built five platforms: Yichun platform, fairy platform, phoenix platform, hugang platform and Huacheng platform. Today's diagenetic rocks are ancient sites of Chengtai.

Historic sites and famous temples

Cliff inscriptions

Li Deyu, the Prime Minister of the Tang Dynasty, lived here when he demoted Yuanzhou as a long historian. Lu Zhao and Huang Po, who were born in the city, had a lot of difficulties and benefited a lot. Later, Lu Zhao's Ci became the first in the world. From then on, the style of study in Yichun was prosperous, talents came forth in large numbers, and Chengyan was admired by later generations. To commemorate the famous sages, in 1149 of the 19th year of Shaoxing in Song Dynasty, the Zhou court established a memorial temple. In the Yuan Dynasty, the head of Yuanzhou Road, Nahai, carved a statue of Li Deyu on the stone under the rock, built a temple and inscribed a plaque "Zhili". During the reign of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, Longtai, the magistrate of Yuanzhou, inscribed the words "reading place of Li Weigong" on the east stone wall of the temple.

Millennium Temple

Hillside Temple Yichun chengchan temple was built in the Tang Dynasty. In the Song Dynasty, it faces the South and faces the mountain and water. It looks simple and elegant. In the era, incense flourished, which was proved by the poem "monks living up and down, bells ringing in the morning", and was known as "Huacheng evening bell", one of the eight scenic spots in Yichun.
