Fuyang surrender Memorial
On August 15, 1945, Japanese imperialism was defeated and declared unconditional surrender. Songdian village, Changxin Township, Fuyang City (now Zhongqiu village, Shoujiang Town, Fuyang City) was designated as the only place for Japanese troops to surrender in Zhejiang Province.
On September 4 of the same year, Lieutenant General Han Deqin, the Chinese demoted representative, deputy commander of the third theater of war and director of the forward command post, accepted the surrender of the Japanese representative, chief of staff of the 133 division of the Japanese army invading Zhejiang Province. At the ceremony, the Japanese side presented certificates, the list of officers and soldiers stationed on the ground, and the list of weapons. As the place where major historical events took place, it has been forever recorded in the history of Zhejiang Anti Japanese war. In September 1995, the people's Government of Fuyang City appropriated funds for the restoration of the site and the public exhibition.
