Xiwan square is located in the center of Fangchenggang, near the West Bay. It is connected with Qinfang expressway. Xiwan square is a city park, covering an area of 16.72 hectares. It is one of the largest municipal squares in Guangxi.

The square started construction in 2002 and was completed in 2003. The square is full of trees and elegant environment. There is a modern music fountain in the middle of the square. When the evening comes, the music rings, the fountain dances with the music, the lights shine, and the scenery is extraordinary. The square has become an important place for celebration, assembly, people's leisure and entertainment in Fangchenggang City. It is open to tourists free of charge.
