Yongxing Temple

Yongxing temple, located in Yingchengzi street, Ganjingzi District, Dalian City, is a Buddhist temple for men. According to historical materials and the records of rebuilding Yongxing Temple stele, Yongxing temple was built in the reign of Tang Zhenguan (627-649).

Yongxing temple is more than 1000 years ago. At that time, the temple was built with Tathagata hall, Maitreya hall, Guanyin hall, Guandi temple, Niangniang hall, Yuanjun hall, Jiusheng temple, etc. up to now, the main historical relics are two ancient halls, a tall ginkgo tree and more than ten ancient stone tablets. In 1994, Yongxing temple was restored and expanded with the approval of the office of Dalian cultural relics administration committee.

The rebuilt Yongxing temple covers an area of about 6240 square meters, with a construction area of 1370 square meters. It has 13 years of antique buildings, including Daxiong hall, Guanyin hall, Tianwang hall, Shanmen hall, bell tower, Drum Tower, etc., and more than 40 Buddha statues have been meticulously carved

Historical evolution

According to historical materials and the records of rebuilding Yongxing Temple stele, Yongxing temple was built in the Zhenguan period of Tang Dynasty (627-649 AD), more than a thousand years ago. At that time, there were the hall of Tathagata, Maitreya, Guanyin, Guandi, Niangniang, Yuanjun, Jiusheng temple, etc.

Up to now, there are two ancient halls, a tall ginkgo tree and more than ten ancient stone tablets.
