Lianhu park is nearly Li Xu from east to west. In the West and south of Lianhu lake, the ancient city wall of Shangzhou is surrounded by Robinia pseudoacacia and weeping willow.

Walking around the city wall, you can have a panoramic view of the lotus lake inside and enjoy the scenery outside the city; there are old Confucian temples and ancient buildings in Hubei, and today's huge buildings reflect the green water and the weeping willows beside the lake, which shade the tourists; there are arch bridges, green forests and boat docks in the east of the lake; there is a spring in the northwest corner of the lake, known as "water spring", which overflows all the year round; there is a spring in the southwest corner, which is unfathomable and emits water and sets off a whirlpool, This is where the water of Lianhu Lake comes from. Lianhu park is divided into three scenic spots: East, middle and West, each with its own characteristics. Lotus root is widely planted in the Eastern District, children's paradise in the central district and boating in the western district. According to textual research, the predecessor of Lianhu is a garden opened by Huang in Ming Dynasty, named "huangjiayuan". In the Qing Dynasty, "the people of the county ruled the garden, planted lotus, stored fish, and fished among them. Later, a "drinking Xia Pavilion" was built in the center of the lake, a "fish watching Pavilion" and a colorful children's paradise were built in the Central District, and a semi garden curved cruise passage was also built. The rebuilt Lianhu park is enchanting, worthy of the reputation of "natural park". It is not only a must visit place for business visitors, but also the best place for entertainment for the elderly, children and young people in the urban area.

Lianhu Park was rebuilt in 2011. The new Lianhu park includes "North Lake" area (old lake) and "South Lake" area, with a total area of 228 mu, of which "South Lake" area is 125 mu.
