Ho Chi Minh's former residence

Ho Chi Minh's former residence

The former residence of Ho Chi Minh is located at 2-1 Liushi Road, Liunan District, Liuzhou city. It was built in 1930 as Nanyang inn. From September 1943 to September 1944, Ho Chi Minh lived in the inn. During this period, Ho Chi Minh carried out a series of major activities in Liuzhou and made important contributions to Vietnam's national victory.

General situation

The cultural relics protection units of Ho Chi Minh's former residence include the former site of lequnshe, the former site of Panlongshan detention house and the former site of Red Mansion. In May 2006, it was announced as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council.

Scope of protection: take the basement of the main building of the old residence as the baseline, reach the basement in the East, and extend 50 meters in the south, West and North.

Construction control zone: take the boundary line of the protection area as the baseline, extend 80 meters in the East, and extend 30 meters in the south, West and North.

Former site of Lequn Society

The former site of Lequn society is located at No.1-1 Liushi Road, Yufeng District, Liuzhou city. Built in 1927, it was originally Liuzhou bus terminal and renamed lequnshe in 1935. 1943

Until 1944, Ho Chi Minh often met with the leaders of various parties of the Vietnam Revolutionary League and discussed their work here. The site, together with the former residence of Ho Chi Minh, the former detention house of Panlong mountain and the former site of Red Mansion, is a cultural relic protection unit. It was announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council in May 2006.

Scope of protection: take the surrounding walls of the main building of the old site as the baseline, extend to the building base in the West and North, and extend to 50m in the East and south.

Construction control zone: take the boundary line of the protection area as the baseline and extend within 20 meters.

Former site of Red Mansion

The former site of the red building is located in Liuzhou Hotel, No.1 Youyi Road, Liuzhou city. It was built in 1953 and is a foreign style building. In July 1954, Hu Zhiming stayed here, held talks with Zhou Enlai, exchanged views on major issues concerning the peaceful settlement of the Geneva issue in Indochina, and issued a joint communiqu. The former site of Honglou, together with the former residence of Ho Chi Minh, the former site of Panlongshan detention house and the former site of lequnshe, is a cultural relic protection unit. It was announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council in May 2006.

Scope of protection: Taking the surrounding walls of the main building of the old site as the baseline, the extension is 24m in the East, 50m in the West and 50m in the north, and 3M outside the red line of Youyi Road in the south.

Construction control zone: the East and south of the protection zone are at the same boundary with the protection zone; the West and north of the protection zone take the boundary line of the protection zone as the baseline and extend within 50 meters.

Former site of Panlongshan detention house

The former site of Panlongshan detention center is located in Liuzhou Medical College, yaobu street, Liuzhou city. From December 9, 1942, Ho Chi Minh was detained here by the Kuomintang authorities, and was soon escorted to Guilin. In January 1943, he was remanded to Liuzhou, where he was detained until he was free in September 1943. The former site of Panlongshan detention house, the former residence of Ho Chi Minh, the former site of lequnshe and the former site of red mansion are combined into a cultural relic protection unit, which was announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council in May 2006. Scope of protection: take the cave as the center, extend 30 meters around.
