The Xianhe temple in Yangzhou was built in the Yuan Dynasty, with the participation of puhading, an Arab. Xianhe Temple combines the style characteristics of Islamic architecture and ancient architecture in China. It is as famous as Phoenix Temple in Hangzhou, Huaisheng temple in Guangzhou and Qilin temple in Quanzhou. It is also known as the four major Muslim temples in China.
