Yazhou corridor bridge, also known as Ya'an corridor bridge, is the longest and largest corridor bridge in China. It is a landmark of Ya'an City.

Brief introduction of bridge

Yazhou corridor bridge is located in the center of the old city group of Ya'an City, across both sides of Qingyi River, and is an important node of urban landscape. The corridor bridge is 22 meters wide and 240 meters long. On the bridge, there are two-story buildings and three-story buildings. After completion, the ground floor can not only meet the function of pedestrian transportation, but also provide a large commercial business area. The second and third floors can provide multi-functional business rooms such as restaurant, tea house, display, exhibition and outdoor viewing. Yazhou corridor bridge has a total area of 9028 square meters. It can be used for catering, teahouse and other commercial operations, with complete water, electricity and gas infrastructure. The first floor is a commercial pedestrian street with a commercial building area of 2100 square meters, the second floor is 3934.92 square meters, the third floor is 1231.5 square meters, and the multi-function hall is 1051.2 square meters (604.8 square meters for the second floor and 446.4 square meters for the third floor). Yazhou Langqiao will set up exhibition halls for urban construction, water and electricity, history and culture, and tourism to fully display the local conditions and customs of Ya'an.

Bridge construction process

The total investment of the corridor bridge project is 38.85 million yuan. The construction started in November 2004 and was completed and opened to traffic in August 2005. Yazhou corridor bridge, Ya'an beer street, red wall inn, Ximen tea Gallery, Qingyi River and other urban scenic spots are integrated to build an ancient romantic landscape of Ya'an and attract many tourists. If you come to Ya'an, the covered bridge nestled in the embrace of green mountains and waters will certainly make visitors feel a visual impact, evoke the feeling of "long bridge lying wave, not Ji He Hong". Walking on the bridge, you will feel more nostalgic thoughts, which will make visitors fully feel the romantic and classical poetry of Ya'an. On the eve of national day in 2012, Yazhou corridor bridge was completed and accepted. On the downstream side of the bridge, there are guardrails and sidewalks, on which Ya'an characteristic stone "China Red" granite relief was installed; on the upstream side, a 50 cm wide flower pool was built outside the anti-collision guardrail, and the guardrail was also installed with "China Red" granite relief. On the relief, there are patterns of "hometown of Panda", "Han rhyme of Yazhou", "Yazhou customs" and so on.
