Longmen tower

Longmen tower, also known as Kuixing tower, is located in Huyang village, Longmen Town, 7 kilometers northwest of Longyan city. The waist eaves are overlapped with water caltrop teeth combined with flat bricks, and the eaves are warped. Top with tile. The top of the tower is gentle, and the tower brake has been destroyed. There are terraces inside the tower, in the form of so-called "folding on the wall", which can be climbed along the brick terraces. According to records, the tower was built by Yusi mountain. It is 9 meters high, about 3 meters in diameter, three stories and octagonal, small and exquisite. There are three arched doors and three round windows on the bottom floor. The wall of the tower is painted with pictures of Eight Immortals crossing the sea. There are four round windows on the second and third floors respectively. The window lattice is embossed with dragon flying, golden phoenix rising sun and other patterns with exquisite color painting. The original wooden bridge in the northeast of the tower is connected with both sides of the river and has been abandoned. On the south bank, there are two inverted siphons made of cement, which lead to the pool. On the top of the siphons, there are cement boards for tourists to come and go. Longmen lake is close to Xiwei mountain in the north and Longling mountain in the south. It looks like a clamp. It is a place for military attack and defense. It was rebuilt in 1985, as shown on the right.
