Sibao bookstore is located in Sibao Township, Liancheng County, Fujian Province. It consists of two groups of buildings: Wuge and Mawu. On June 2, 2001, it was awarded the national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council. Most of them were built in Ming and Qing Dynasties. A bookshop is a place for block printing, which is called a hall, a building or a pavilion. There are more than 80 existing buildings, such as Linlan hall, Hanbao building, Biqing hall and Wenhai Pavilion. These bookstores are built with refractory bricks, which have the function of fire prevention, commonly known as "Fenghuo house". Sibao Bookstore complex is the most complete extant ancient block printing remains in China.
