Memorial to teacher's kindness

On the east slope of Wolong Village (commonly known as Wolong cave), Xiaoying Township, northwest of Yanji City, stands a memorial of Shien, which is white jade in Han Dynasty and engraved with five characters of "Shien Memorial" in regular script.

brief introduction

In 1907, patriots and anti Japanese patriots in Wolong cave founded a primary school, and in 1910, it was changed into a middle school, called "private Changdong middle school". In the past ten years, a number of patriotic and anti Japanese talents have been cultivated. In 1920, during the "gengzi crusade", most of the teachers were forced to go into exile, so the school was forced to suspend classes. On September 12, 1935, Zheng Shihuan, a former student of the school, set up this monument to express his nostalgia for the teachers of his alma mater.
