Site of shiyingzhuang Fort

It is located 1.5 km northwest of Mawan village, Xincheng Township, Jiayuguan City. The fort was built in the Ming Dynasty. Sitting north to south, the plane is slightly rectangular, 75 meters long from east to west and 67 meters wide from north to south. The wall is rammed with loess, with a height of 6.3m, a width of 3.7m and a thickness of 0.14-0.16m. The south wall opens with a width of 5.8 meters. There are traces of the urn outside. The east gate opens with a width of 2.2 meters. 3.2 meters outside the wall is a trench 4.2 meters wide and 2.2 meters deep. No house remains can be seen in the castle. There are a lot of fragments of grey pottery scattered in the city.
