Lubuge reservoir

Lubuge reservoir is located on the Huangni River between Luoping County in Yunnan Province and Xingyi City in Guizhou Province.

The total storage capacity is 122 million cubic meters, the effective storage capacity is 74 million cubic meters, and the dead storage capacity is 37 million cubic meters. The main dam is a weathered core rockfill dam with a height of 103m and a crest length of 217m. The hillside along the reservoir area is steep and the valley is narrow. At normal water level, the average water surface width of the reservoir is 203 meters and the water surface area is 4 square kilometers.
