Miao Wang Temple

The Miao King Temple in Rongjiang county is the only temple dedicated to the ancestors of the Miao people in China and even in the world. It is known as "the only temple of the Miao people in the world". It has a certain influence both inside and outside Guizhou Province, in Southeast Asia, and even as far as Europe. The Paris museum in France also records the Miao King Temple in Guzhou.

However, the Miao king temple, which is so famous, seems to be far smaller than an ordinary temple in the Central Plains. It is said that the Miao king temple was rebuilt later. The original Miao king temple was much larger.

Interestingly, the temple is not only for King Miao, but also for Guanyin Bodhisattva. At ordinary times, not only Miao people come to worship their ancestors, but also Han people come to burn incense and kowtow to worship Bodhisattva.
