Shaoxing ancient post road

From the old east gate of Xinchang County to the boundary of Tiantai County, there is still a relatively complete ancient post road. The cobblestone paved all the way is smooth and smooth. At present, the long street traversing Banzhu, the stone steps of huishuling and the mountain road from Tianmu temple to LENGSHUIKENG still retain the charm of ancient post road. The small stone Buddha shop, Lengshui shop and Guanling shop on the post road also show the old appearance of the shop site. The post road passes through Taoyuan, Tianmu and guanlingtou, with a total length of 35 km. This road was opened up by Xie Lingyun, a poet of the Southern Dynasty, so it is also called "Xie gongdao". Now, this ancient post road is roughly parallel to national highway 104.
