Shuangfeng, famous for its temple and thriving for its religion, has a history of nearly 1700 years. It has the reputation of "a thousand year old town, a blessed place for Shuangfeng". It is the hometown of dragon and lion, a folk art in China, and an archaeological site of Liangzhu culture. The main scenic spots are Shuangfeng temple, Yuhuang Pavilion, Shanggang bridge, renovation sites, etc.

Shuangfeng Temple: a thousand year old temple. According to the literature, the name of Shuangfeng town comes from Shuangfeng temple. Shuangfeng temple was built in Jin Dynasty, more than 1600 years ago. It is said that the monk Zhidun of the Eastern Jin Dynasty got two stone turtles in the construction of the temple, which immediately turned into Shuangfeng and flew away, so the temple is called Shuangfeng temple. Shuangfeng temple is located in the suburb of Taicang City. A ribbon river is lying around Shuangfeng temple. The jade belt bridge at the gate is built across the river. Looking up, you can see the memorial archway of good Buddha. In the temple, Tianwang hall and Daxiong hall stand in succession, with dizang hall and Guanyin hall on the left and right. In the backyard, there are monk's rooms, Buddhist temples, and places for foreigners to rest. Renovation site: the renovation site, known as "the root of Taicang", fills in the blank of Taicang primitive culture. The discovery of Liangzhu Culture and Maqiao culture in the renovation site dates back the history of Taicang for about 4500 years. The renovation site protection project covers an area of more than 15000 square meters, of which the exhibition hall covers an area of 630 square meters. The northern part of the site combines the original ecological environment, living scene landscape and unearthed artifacts to vividly reproduce the human primitive culture 4500 years ago in Taicang. The style of the exhibition hall is simple and natural, integrating protection and exhibition, universal education and tourism development. Through the "excavation area", "settlement area", "farming area" and "fishing and hunting area", we can experience the friendly, natural and lively local customs of Taicang. Shuangfeng dragon and lion Museum: located in Shuangfeng Yipin food street, it is the only dragon and lion Museum in Taicang. There are nearly 100 dragon and lion products of different colors and specifications, including lantern, lion and dragon head. In addition, the museum also shows visitors the historical origin and evolution of the Dragon Lion Culture in the form of pictures and text descriptions.
