Xichuntai

Xichuntai is said to be the place where Yangzhou Salt Merchants celebrated the birthday of the Qing emperor. Xichuntai

Xichuntai stands on the West Bank of Slender West Lake in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, facing the Lotus Bridge from afar. On the south side of the main building, there are rockeries, compound roads and double eaves pavilions. On the north side, there are curved corridors connected with the cross Pavilion.

Xichuntai was built by Wang family on the South Bank of Lianhua bridge. From the river exit of the Fahai bridge, there is a fan Pavilion, with the front eaves like lips, the back eaves like teeth, and eight characters on both sides.

Xichuntai smashed incident

At about 3:00 a.m. on June 11, 2012, a commercial crew was shooting a TV drama in Yangzhou Slender West Lake. During the shooting, the 58 ton crane used for shooting overturned, and the 48 meter long boom hit the roof of Xichun TV station in Slender West Lake. Three cornices were seriously damaged, and many roof tiles were damaged.
