Tuoji island is located in the middle of Changdao County, 21.8 kilometers away from the county seat. The island covers an area of 7.11 square kilometers, with an island coastline of 17.68 kilometers. Tuiji island has unique folk customs and rich cultural heritage. Tuoji fisherman's song was once filmed as a feature film by Yantai TV station. The people on the island are frank and enthusiastic. In the "2.22" shipwreck rescue, the hero rescue group of Tuoji island was shortlisted for CCTV "moving China". During the "Eleventh Five Year Plan" period, Duji Island accelerated the pace of "prospering the island through tourism", built a bathing beach, a cultural appreciation exhibition room and a fishing ground, and further developed Duji inkstones and bonsai.
