Entering from the main entrance, the east end is an open-air music square that can accommodate hundreds of people. On both sides of the square are patterns composed of different plants, with a typical European style. The music square is the main place for holding large-scale activities. In more than three years since the park was built, it has held more than 30 large-scale celebrations, commemorative activities, various artistic performances and concerts. Every Spring Festival, the park holds a large tulip flower show. There are about 300000 tulip bulbs imported directly from the Netherlands. During the Spring Festival, colorful tulips compete to open, and the park almost becomes a sea of tulips.

The southern part of the park imitates the natural scenery of lakes and mountains, showing visitors a group of natural scenery. There are mountains, waters, islands, lush trees, birds singing and flowers fragrance, and unique artificial waterfall. It implies the origin of the hot spring park. There is a stone tablet above the waterfall, which introduces the general situation of Fuzhou hot spring.

More than 20 kinds of plants are planted in Rongfang garden, including yellow banyan, golden banyan, Qinye banyan, Huaye banyan and so on. The banyan trees are trimmed into various shapes to show the characteristics of "banyan city".

Rare trees such as Ginkgo biloba, Taiwania flousiana, Keteleeria oleifera, Taxus chinensis, fir, Cedrus deodara, Pinus needles, Hong Kong sizhaohua, Acer tenuifolia, Acer and so on are introduced into the park for scientific recreation. The lawn is paved to the lakeside, and the lake water is almost as high as the lakeside, so as to hide the traces of artificial revetment and make it more natural.
