Dongqianhu stone carving group

Dongqianhu stone carving group is located along the highway from guojiazhi to Tiantong on the North Bank of Dongqianhu in Yinxian County, Zhejiang Province. It was built around the 8th year of Zhenghe (1118) in the Northern Song Dynasty and the 12th year of Wanli (1584) in the Ming Dynasty. It is mainly a group of ground stone inscriptions that guide the Shinto of the famous families of the Song Dynasty and the crown prince Yu Youding of the Ming Dynasty. The stone carving group of Shi's famous family's tomb path in the Southern Song Dynasty is a fine stone carving art integrating ancient philosophy, aesthetics and ecology. It includes the tomb path of Ye's Taijun, the wife of the state of Hebei in the Song Dynasty, and the tomb path of Shi Zhao, the Duke of Yue in the Song Dynasty. The length of these tombs ranges from 50 meters to hundreds of meters, and the existing tombs are relatively complete. The proportion of stone sculpture is moderate, and the lines are smooth and vivid. Among the tombs of yuan and Ming Dynasties, Yu Youding's is the core. The tomb is 200 meters long and 25 meters wide. The whole group of stone carvings is magnificent and exquisitely carved, which is rare among the existing Ming Tombs in China. Among the stone carvings in Dongqianhu, the stone carvings in the tombs of the Southern Song Dynasty are the largest, most numerous, and most exquisitely carved remains in the Southern Song Dynasty, filling the gaps in the history of fine arts, cultural relics, archaeology, and carving art in the Southern Song Dynasty. The stone carvings of the yuan and Ming Dynasties are also important objects for the study of the official palace, clothes, carvings and tombs of the yuan and Ming Dynasties.
