Happy Valley Catholic St. Michael cemetery, commonly known as happy valley Catholic Cemetery, is the oldest Catholic Cemetery in Hong Kong. It is also one of the five Catholic cemeteries. It is located in the south of Lido Hotel, Wong Nai Chung Road, Happy Valley, Hong Kong Island. It is located on the slope between Wong Nai Chung Road and Stubbs road. There are 23000 tombs in it. Besides the earth burial cemetery, there are also crematorium sites. In summer, the cemetery sweeps at 8:7 a day, and in winter it sweeps at 8:6 a day. The rest of the time is closed. During the opening period, a security guard and an office staff are on duty. According to the diocese cemetery rules, only members of the church, worshippers and clergy can be buried here. Each cemetery costs about HK $15500. Due to the architectural, artistic and religious flavor of the cemetery, which contains a lot of traces of colonial years, it has become a hot spot for cemetery inspection activities and photographers.
