Solemn Temple

Built during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, the temple has been renovated in recent years. Around the temple, there are many scenic spots, such as Baihua Lingquan, jade Watergate, Feilu Xiansheng, movable rocking stone, and sword testing stone. The moving legend of Baihua princess has spread among the people, which adds a magical color to the mountain.

Solemn Temple

Yanchan Temple of Baihua Mountain Villa is located in Shijia village, Zhoutian Town, thirty miles east of Huilai County, Jieyang, Guangdong Province, commonly known as "baihuajian". It was founded in Song Dynasty, and was repaired and expanded in Ming and Qing Dynasties.

It is one of the famous scenic spots in Lingdong.

Since ancient times, the times have changed and several repairs have been made. After the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee in 1979, the religious policy was implemented. Rebuild the ancient temple. Since the year of Xinyou (1984), we have collected the lost inscriptions and the famous Ci Fu, and set the famous sentences on the Panshi to re display the ancient style for tourists to enjoy. In 1988, we began to plan to build the main hall in front of the temple. After careful design, we chose a lucky dove to work in 1993. After breaking the ground, we built the main hall by filling the pit and building the dike. We also built two floors on both sides of the main hall as conference hall, guest hall, Zen room and other supporting facilities. It was completed in January 1995.

The newly built solemn temple is located in the stone gate of Baihua. It sits north to South with a width of 70 meters, a depth of 30 meters and a construction area of 2100 square meters.. It is composed of eight groups of single buildings. It is a quadrangle building. The hall is made of wood and stone and covered with golden glazed tiles. It belongs to Xieshan and hard peak.
