Tianezhou nature reserve is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, Jingjiang River. Swan Island is the most intact wetland in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River after it comes out of the Three Gorges. It is also the most intact wetland among the 16 newly announced wetlands, with a total area of 70 square kilometers.
