The planned area of Qixing Lake Desert ecotourism area is 889 hectares. Among them, the water area is 114.6 hectares, the reed wetland area is 40.7 hectares, the grassland area is 380 hectares, and the desert area is 383.7 hectares. The scenic spot is located in the hinterland of Kubuqi Desert in Hangjin Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, on the South Bank of the Yellow River, adjacent to the capital of the autonomous region, Hohhot in the East, Baotou across the river in the north, Wuhai City and Yinchuan City in the west, Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces in the south, National Highway 110 and Jinglan railway in the north, national highway 109 and dongzhun railway in the south, with convenient transportation and tourism resources It's very rich.

In 2010, we cooperated with the local government to invest 600 million yuan in the construction of Kubuqi Desert seven star hotel. The hotel made full use of the technology of three networks in one and five energy interconnection to build the first desert low-carbon super five-star hotel in China.
