Wachetarin

--Wachetalin is a place to commemorate the 10th Panchen Lama. The people of Hongyuan county built the pagoda and 108 white pagodas around it on the throne of the 10th Panchen Lama. There are continuous prayer flags hung by devout Tibetans around it, which is magnificent.

--For photographers, the White Pagoda in rows and the continuous Sutra banners are very good subjects and one of the scenic spots that can't be missed.

Wachetarin

Waqie Jingfan group is located in waqie Township, Hongyuan County, Sichuan Province. It is a T-shaped intersection, 60km from the first bay of the Yellow River in the north, 40km from Hongyuan County in the south, and 150km to the east to the Chuanzhu temple in Songpan county. The Tibetan meaning of wachetalin is "big tent". There is wachetalin, a place to commemorate the 10th Panchen Lama's chanting of sutras and praying for blessings. There are continuous Sutra flags around the pagoda, which is very spectacular.

The Sutra flag is a kind of totem that exists universally in Tibetan areas. It is to write scriptures on cloth and linen fabrics, and then insert them on the top of mountains, intersections, rivers and other places. Its meaning is to chant sutras with the power of nature to ensure peace and auspiciousness. The method of inserting Sutra banners in Tibetan areas is also different. The Sutra banners of Wache in Hongyuan are like a tent surrounded by a garden, and the large area of Wache Sutra banners is rare in Tibetan areas. Beside the prayer flags, there is a white pagoda and a scripture turning tube, where Tibetan people often turn the pagoda and Scripture.
