Southeast University (Sipailou campus)

The magnificent French Wutong, Yongquan pool and auditorium on the four sides of Central Avenue of Southeast University are undoubtedly the most recognizable University scenes in the whole movie. The Wutong front gate is the Central Avenue, and the parasol trees on both sides are blotting out the sun. On the left side of the road is the library, on the right side is the grass, and in front of you are the Yongquan pool and the auditorium. However, the fountain pool in front of the auditorium will not spray water unless it is a major event. The water in Yongquan pool is very blue.

Most of the buildings in Sipailou campus of Southeast University are the remains of former National Central University with strong historical charm. The Grand Hall of Dongda is solemn and majestic, belonging to the western classical architectural style. The facade is composed of Ionian columns and mountain flowers. It is covered with a large copper dome of the European Renaissance. The height of the dome is 34 meters and can accommodate more than 2700 people. The auditorium was first built by Zhang Naiyan, the first president of Central University. It was designed by Gonghe company. Later, it was continued by Lu Yujun, a professor of architecture. It was completed in 1931.
