Mosuo folk custom museum is located in Luoshui village, Ninglang Yi Autonomous County, Lijiang, Yunnan Province. It is the only museum in China to reflect the social customs of matrilineal clan, which was jointly founded by Weng Jici Erqing and his friend Ruheng cirendorji.

Mosuo people mainly live in Ninglang County of Yunnan Province in the east of Jinsha River, Yanyuan County and Muli County of Sichuan Province, with a total population of more than 40000. As the only matriarchal clan society in the world, Mosuo people still keep the system of walking marriage in which men don't marry and women don't. Mosuo people advocate nature, advocate the protection of every inch of land and landscape around them, and advocate the harmonious coexistence of man and nature. With the development of Lugu Lake tourism resources, Mosuo people's culture is gradually disappearing. Many tourists have only a superficial understanding of Mosuo culture and some misunderstandings of local customs. In order to show the authentic Mosuo culture and its development history to the outside world, let everyone know a real Mosuo, and let the traditional Mosuo culture be inherited, Erqing and cirendorji have been collecting the articles used by Mosuo people in production and life since 1998, taking pictures of daily life, etc., and founded Mosuo folk custom museum on the basis of a simple exhibition room. On the basis of flower house, grandmother's house, Daba hall, clothing hall, Lama scripture hall, folk custom exhibition hall, picture exhibition hall and tea horse ancient road hall, food hall, Mosuo celebrity hall, film exhibition hall and real person exhibition workshop are added.
