Fu'an palace in Checheng, formerly known as "Jingsheng Pavilion", was built in Yongli period of Ming Dynasty. It has a long history. At that time, the ancestors who came to Taiwan from Quanzhou were not acclimatized to the local pestilence, so they welcomed the statue of Fu'an from their hometown and built a temple for worship. In 1788, Fu kang'an led more than ten thousand troops to the south of Checheng to wipe out the fields After that, he calmed down the rebellion of Lin shuangwen. Fu kang'an was here to commemorate the incident. He also expressed his gratitude for the protection of the Duke of land. Later, he invited emperor Ganlong to give him official clothes and hats, and changed the name of the temple to Fu'an palace.
