National Taiwan Science Education Center

Formerly known as the National Taiwan Science Museum, it is a social education institution affiliated to the Ministry of education. In 1957, the National Taiwan Science Museum, designed by Lu Yujun, was completed. At that time, it was located in Nanhai Science Park on Nanhai Road. In 1960, the science exhibition of primary and secondary schools was founded. The National Taiwan Science Education Museum was established in 1949 to promote science education for all. In order to expand the function of science education, the museum was relocated from the former site of Nanhai School Park to the current site of Shilin new museum in 1992, and the scale of the museum expanded 20 times.
