Chegong temple in Dawei

Che Kung Temple, also known as Che Kung Temple in Tai Wai, is a temple commemorating Che Kung in Tai Wai, Shatin District, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is a secondary historical building in Hong Kong.

Today's Che Gong temple was built in 1993. The old building was rebuilt in the 19th century and is still preserved behind the new temple.

There are couplets on the stone pillars on both sides of the gate of Che Gong Temple: Che zhuanpu is as ugly as the world, his heart is better, and Gong Fu changes everything from disaster to good in Jiuyue, which means Che Gong is the guardian God of Shatin. The famous copper windmill in chegong temple is placed beside the statue of chegong. People who come to worship will turn the windmill to pray for good luck.
