The site of Mu Tusi castle is located in the west of Gongxia village, Lianhe village, Xiaozhongdian Township, Shangri La County. The exact beginning of the castle is unknown.
Today, facing the dilapidated wooden chieftain castle in the period of the Republic of China, it is hard to imagine the momentum of that year. As an ancient historical site, it has left a long sense of time and space for modern people. The castle is built by ramming only the remnant walls. There is a door to the south of the wall, and there is a pair of stone monkeys in the left remnant wall. The residual wall is more than 2m high and 0.7m thick. Among the ruins were roads made of tiles and pebbles. The site is about 1.5 km long and 1 km wide. There are no watchtowers around, and the remains at the top are still visible today.
