Chongqing Zoo

Chongqing wildlife world scenic spot is the first national theme park in Southwest China approved by the State Forestry Administration in 2000. It is one of the largest large-scale eco-tourism parks integrating wildlife protection, domestication and breeding, eco-tourism, science education, animal rescue and leisure entertainment.

The park is surrounded by green mountains and connected with lakes. The water area of the park is more than 800 mu. Panda mountain, Baihu mountain and Fenghuang Mountain are surrounded by green lake water. The park is opposite to Changlin mountain. It is green and green with mild climate in four seasons. It is the best wildlife breeding and viewing environment in China.

Chongqing wildlife world has introduced more than 430 species and 30000 rare wildlife from 14 countries on five continents, including 260 species and 10000 animals under international convention Appendix I and II and national key protection. There are more than 30 rare and rare wild animals, including 5 of the total number of the world, only one golden tiger in China, a few Silver Tiger and white tiger, and the first introduced Chinese mainland's antelope, MI animal, grey bogal and so on.

At the same time, Chongqing wildlife world has 36 giraffes, 500 flamingos, ducks, pumas and other animal populations, respectively, ranking first in China. Chongqing is rich in wildlife species and has a large animal population in the world, which fills the gap in the research on wildlife protection in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, improves the scale of ecological research in Southwest China, and has become the largest wildlife species gene bank and animal breeding research center in Western China.

1. Take a long-distance bus from Caiyuanba bus station or Shapingba bus station in Chongqing to Yongchuan. It runs every 30 minutes from 7:30 to 18:30 every day. The ticket price is 18 yuan to 30 yuan, and the journey is 1.5 hours.

Bus: take bus 501 to the zoo.

Taxi: it costs about 25 yuan to take a taxi to the zoo in Yongchuan.
