Miyi Longtan Cave Scenic Spot

Longtan cave is located in Longtan Valley, Ninghua Township, Miyi County, 20 kilometers away from Miyi County. The scenic area consists of five scenic spots: Longtan cave, Longyin gorge, natural bonsai garden, wild botanical garden and longgou Peak scenery.

The entrance of Longtan karst cave is semicircular arch, with a total length of 1100 meters. There are 7 halls, 9 pools, 4 waterfalls and 21 scenic spots. There are stalagmites, stone pillars and stalactites of different sizes in the cave. The stalagmites are in clusters with strange shapes. The small ones have stone buds several centimeters long, and the large ones have stone towers 2-3 meters long. The stalactites form beautiful stone curtains and stone mountains, and the single ones have lifelike "stone chrysanthemums" and "dolphins" in various forms.

The entrance and exit of the cave are all on the mountain, and the relative height difference is several hundred meters. The passage in the cave is spacious and easy to pass. There are 23 streams and waterfalls in the valley less than 2 kilometers away; the terraced fields of the natural bonsai garden are dotted with boulders; the wild cactus in the wild botanical garden has thousands of shapes and become a forest; the thousand mu Rhododendron and ten thousand hectares of pine forest on the top of longgou mountain have boundless scenery. The scenic spot was rated as a provincial scenic spot in May 1998, and has been approved as a national AA scenic spot.
