West Battery Park

West Battery Park is 150 meters away from Meijiang street, covering an area of 71.36 mu. In the middle of the top of the park is the martyrs' cemetery. In the north, two semicircular walls are built against the mountain, with two huge guns arched. The stele corridors on the East and west sides of the park are engraved with the famous people and far-reaching events of the county. The pavilions on tongguanling are elegant, green and full of flowers and trees.

West Battery Park

There are two West battery parks in China. Yantai West Battery Park is located on tongshengang in the northwest of the city, with the highest altitude of 106 meters and a total area of 10.7 hectares. Because there is a coastal defense battery on the mountain opposite to the East battery, it is called West battery. The Western Fort is composed of walls, big and small fort, training ground, underground command post, ammunition depot, etc. Mengshan Battery Park is 150 meters away from Meijiang street, covering an area of 71.36 mu. In the center of the top of the park is the martyrs' cemetery. In the north, two semicircular walls are built against the mountain to guard two giant guns. The stele corridors on the East and west sides of the park are engraved with the famous people and far-reaching events of the county.

From the re opening of the scenic spot to December 31, 2020, medical workers and their parents, spouses and children will enter the park free of charge with valid certificates (doctor's certificate, nurse's certificate or other qualification certificates related to medical work).

Yantai West Battery Park

Yantai West Fort Park was built in 1876. It is the most complete closed ancient fort group with the characteristics of ancient castle and modern advanced military facilities. It has important historical value.

The fort consists of a wall, a urn, a training ground and an underground command post. It is one of the most complete ancient fortresses in China.

At the foot of xipaotai park is Xinqiao community, a famous living area in Yantai city. To the south is Yantai TV station.

Fortress Park in Inner Mongolia

The stele corridors on the west sides of the battery park in Mengxi province are engraved with the famous people and far-reaching events of the county. The pavilions on tongguanling are elegant and unique, with green grass and flowers all over the slope. In the Cultural Park of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, there are the ancient magnolia tree, a witness of the imperial edict issued by Hong Xiuquan, a well pit for the execution of state officials, a military temple for the kings and generals of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom to discuss military affairs, a wall of the ancient yonganzhou, a modern stele Gallery, a bronze statue of Hong Xiuquan, and a cultural relics exhibition hall of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. The project of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Cultural Park (including the restoration of the west wall, the north wall, the Taiping memorial hall, the relief stele Gallery, etc.) will be open to visitors on May 1, 2002. Changshou Fengyu bridge has been repaired. The Meijiang River barrage has been put into use, impoundment will raise the water level of the Meijiang river, and the county section of the Meijiang river will add new style. Other tourism projects under planning include Yong'an ancient banyan Park, Aoshan Park, Meijiang night, ancient battlefield of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, etc. With the continuous improvement and development of many scenic spots, "Mengshan one-day tour" will soon be realized.
