Ancient banyan in Zhoutou

Zhoutou ancient banyan is located in the North Street of Mengshan county. There are three ancient banyan trees in one place, covering more than 800 square meters of ground. They stand towering and look like covered mulberry. It is said that they were planted in ningdai Dynasty and have a history of thousands of years. The largest one has a waist circumference of more than ten. These three ancient banyans, whose plates are staggered, have a magnificent atmosphere. Some of their roots are exposed on the ground and look like a flat dragon. Some of them are upside down and look like a tassel, which makes the ancient banyans more elegant and graceful. The trunk is thick and angular, covered with mosses, like a green coat covered with hairy hair. The branches are smooth and straight, and some of the low-rise transverse branches stretch out obliquely, just like a square roof beam. Although it has experienced thousands of years of spring and autumn, the ancient banyan trees are still luxuriant and full of green clouds.
