Jiuding Mountain, a scenic spot of Longmen Mountain, is located between Hongbai town of Shifang City in Deyang City, shigu Township and Nanxin town in Maoxian County, and borders Qingping of Mianzhu. The main peak and nine peaks of Jiuding Mountain are located in Hongbai town of Shifang City. It is named Jiuding Mountain because the nine peaks are connected. The highest peak of Jiuding Mountain is shiziwang peak, with an altitude of 4989 meters. It is 120 kilometers away from Chengdu. It is a new tourist attraction in Western Sichuan, with natural ecological sightseeing, leisure tourism and international geological history, wildlife science research as the center. At present, it has been listed as "Minshan Mountain World Natural Heritage Site" by Sichuan Provincial People's government, and also as the main part of "Wolong Siguniang Mountain Giant Panda Ecological Corridor". Jiuding Mountain is located in the middle of the Longmen Mountains of Minshan Mountain system, with the highest altitude of 4989 meters, which is the highest point in the Longmen Mountains. Its unique scenery is the integration of grassland, snow mountain, primeval forest, Buddha light, mirage, sea of clouds and other natural landscape, geological history landscape and sky image landscape. There are more than 300 kinds of animals and 3000 kinds of plants in the scenic area, such as Davidia involucrata, Ginkgo biloba and so on. It can be called a natural museum of geological wonders. It not only has a strong tourism value, but also has a high scientific and aesthetic value. Jiudingshan scenic spot is located in Longmen mountain range on the northwest edge of Sichuan Basin, with complex geological structure, complete stratigraphic records and well-developed. Its nabufeifeng structure is well-known in the world, with typical anticline, syncline and fault geological characteristics. The rare Sponge Coral Reef fossils in the area can be called a cornucopia for geological research. There are many scenic spots in the scenic area. Streams crisscross, converging into the main rivers Mawei River and Mianyuan River, meandering eastward and flowing thousands of miles into Tuojiang River. Streams and springs fall step by step along with the mountains, forming many waterfalls, beaches and Haizi with different heights. There are dense shade and green, flying springs and waterfalls, overlapping peaks and mountains. The mountain scenery, gorge scenery, Waterscape, meteorological landscape, forest vegetation and cultural scenery are all in one place. They are colorful, leading each other. They are skillfully combined. The mountain is beautiful because of water, and the water is quiet because of the mountain. The vine buttresses are primitive and green, and the strange rocks and rocks are scattered all over the place. They are quiet, strange, dangerous, beautiful and fascinating, which constitute the unique natural ecological scenery of Jiudingshan scenic spot. There are rare animal groups such as giant panda and golden monkey in the area, as well as precious exserted plants such as Davidia involucrata, Taxus chinensis, Ginkgo biloba and Metasequoia glyptostroboides.
